Υπογράφτηκε και επισήμως την Τετάρτη 17 Ιανουαρίου ο Χάρτης Συχνοτήτων Ψηφιακού Ραδιοφώνου. Σύμφωνα με τον χάρτη συχνοτήτων, η χώρα χωρίζεται σε 34 περιοχές, και σε κάθε περιοχή θα διατεθεί ένας δίαυλος για τα προγράμματα της ΕΡΤ, ένα δίαυλος για τα πανελλαδικά ιδιωτικά ραδιόφωνα και από 1-6 δίαυλοι για περιφερειακά ραδιόφωνα. Ξεκίνησε στην Επιτροπή Θεσμών και Διαφάνειας της Βουλής η διαδικασία για την έγκριση των μελών της Εθνικής Επιτροπής Τηλεπικοινωνιών και Ταχυδρομείων, η θητεία των οποίων έλειξε μετά από παρέλευση της τετραετίας. Στη χθεσινή συνεδρίαση προέκυψε ζήτημα σχετικά με την θέση του Προέδρου της ΕΕΤΤ, καθώς δεν είναι σαφές αν η θητεία του τρέχοντος προέδρου Δημητρίου Τσαμάκη έχει λήξει. A big set of reforms was voted by the plenary session Greek Parliament on Monday afternoon, as prerequisite for the budget support by the ESM. In the next few days, the digital radio frequency map will be published; it is set to regulate the distribution of digital radio channels across the country. According to the speech of the Minister of Digital Policy Nikos Pappas in Parliament, in the context of the voting of a batch of fiscal reforms, the new Frequency Map will provide a capacity for over 1300 DAB+ radio stations across the country. The Minister of Digital Policy, Telecommunications and Information of Greece, Nikos Pappas, speaking to ERT, underlined that the Digital Radio Broadcasting Act was in the prerequisites for the budget support program (EU/IMF) and that there were talks with the partners. He explained that there will be a gradual transition, in a certain way, without any hasty policies. The political forces, he added, should start a dialogue on the issue, while responding to the municipal radio stations noted that one can not be excluded from the law, but there will be provisions for the issue.
